The challenge
Create an innovative opening to appropriately introduce our theme for the World Port Days.
The Port of Rotterdam Authority is one of the founders and main sponsors of the World Port Days, an annual maritime event that strengthens the bond between the port and the city. They wanted to introduce their new theme 'The Smartest Port' in a fitting manner. The Smartest Port focused on technological innovations, sustainability, and creating a future-proof port with new forms of energy, smart management, and circular processes.

An innovative performance in which the key features and the reveal of the theme were incorporated.
To make innovation visible, it always works well to do something people haven't seen before, linked to the message you want to convey. In this case, we opted for a spectacular show with dancers in our light suits, which played with elements of the message and ended with the unveiling of the theme.
