The challenge
Create an innovative opening that allows us to introduce our theme for the World Port Days in a fitting manner
The Port of Rotterdam Authority is one of the founders and main sponsors of the World Port Days, an annual maritime event that strengthens the bond between the port and the city. They wanted to introduce their new theme, 'The Smartest Port', in a fitting manner. The Smartest Port focused on technological innovations, sustainability and creating a future-proof port with new forms of energy, smart management and circular processes.

To make innovation visible, it always works well to do something people haven't seen before, linked to the message you want to convey. In this case, we opted for a spectacular show featuring dancers in our light suits, which played with elements of the message and concluded with the unveiling of the theme.
