The challenge
Create an impressive and stylish moment to open the gala.
The DNA Gala is an annual charity event whose proceeds are used for research into early diagnosis at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital. For the edition in the anniversary year '100 years of Antoni van Leeuwenhoek', the client wanted to go all out because of this momentous occasion. Consequently, a request was made for an extra surprising opening moment.

The solution
Cesar Zuiderwijk in combination with Jean Dundas on the beambox
We chose to combine the unique duo, drum legend Cesar Zuiderwijk and stage animal Jean Dundas, in a single opening show that would immediately blow the roof off and set the tone for the entire benefit evening.
