Area development projects are characterized by their versatility, the diversity of their objectives and, at times, a high degree of abstraction. We opted for an approach that allows the story and the transition to be experienced as an attraction you are part of. The show began in the remaining part of the old, large hall of Backer & Rueb. From this robust setting, we launched the Sonos Lux Experience to draw attention to the gigantic factory doors. Then, in perfect time with the music, Councillor Paul de Beer and Deputy Erik van Merriënboer opened the doors to 'the promised land'. Upon entering the area, we allowed guests to experience the Mark junction or crossing (Crossmark) from a completely different perspective. Using light, lasers and soundscapes, we created a surreal and innovative spectacle, featuring a laser projection show with the councillor's voice as the narrator.
